Abstract

University research in the Amazon region faces challenges linked to territorial diversity, social relevance demands, and the need to strengthen investigative skills among students and early-career academics. In this context, the manual La tesis que me parió emerges as a timely tool that provides both technical and emotional guidance for academic writing and research. This short communication examines the relevance of the book for Amazonian higher education ecosystems, emphasizing its formative approach, narrative proposal, and its potential to support the development of research capacities in complex territories. Its value in promoting ethical research practices, autonomy, and the creative integration of research with local contexts is discussed.
